Sarno is a magificant speciem of the breed, it is an honour to own such a wonderful dog. Sarno was bred it Italy by Lorenzo Ciacci, who not only looked after Sarno until he was old enought to travel to Australia he also showed him in Italy. He received an excellent award from Lagotto specialitst judge Renee Sporres Willes from Sweden. He also accompanied Lorenzo's other lagottos on truffle hunts. Since arriving in Australia Sarno has acquired his Australian Championship status and he has sired many beautiful litters, which has produced several Australian champions. He is now the proud father of puppies all over Australia and New Zealand, one great little puppy in Hawaii and recently the first Australian Bred, Australian Champion to be exported from Australia to United States of America is a puppy from Sarno. Sarno is the sire of New Zealand’s first conformation Champion “Azzuronastro Callmepippa” owned and shown by Christine Lewis.  "SARNO" & his Daughter" Frankie before she left for US
Aust CH Azzuronastro Mio Lorenzo son of “Sarno” has recently been exported to Canada as a stud dog and will hopefully be trained in truffle hunting.
Look out for “Azzuronastro My Name Is Kirby”: Sarno’s latest son is now being shown in Victoria by Taylor Francis Mercieca. We wish Taylor good luck in the show ring.
